Zhang Lei led PINWU to win more than 20 international design awards. Using contemporary design language to redefine the Chinese traditional materials and handcrafts. The design works have been exhibited over the world, the Chinese Mainland, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Greece and so on. He founded the Róng Design Library, a non-profit welfare organization with Christoph John and Jovana Zhang together.
